Introductory week for all international students
At the beginning of each semester we offer an 鈥淚ntroductory Week鈥� and other welcome events for international and exchange students. The events are designed to help you get started with your studies and find your way around G枚ttingen.

Foyer International
Foyer International is a place for students from all over the world to meet up. We offer regular language workshops, art and theatre workshops, film nights, cooking and culture themed events for various countries and courses both at our main location as well as in our 'intercultural garden' in south G枚ttingen.

The Welcome Centre offers various events in English for international scientists and their families.

InDiGU
InDiGU (Integration and Diversity at G枚ttingen University) is an extra-curricular programme that seeks to support the integration of foreign students at the University of G枚ttingen as well as to promote and make visible the diversity of the international student body.

Excursions
Every semester, G枚ttingen International organises trips within Germany to visit cities and sights of political, cultural and historical interest, in order to give non-German students the opportunity to learn about German history and culture.
